The Treasurer's Tax Paying Agent (TPA) Site

The TPA program allows third-party payers such as banks, mortgage companies and financial institutions to make current-year property tax payments on high volumes of properties.

• The Treasurer will not accept multiple PINs paid with one check. All TPA payments must be made through our extranet website.
• TPAs must complete the registration process.
• TPAs must pre-commit by April 14, 2010 a file of all the PINs on which they intend to make a payment.
• If a TPA chooses not to use the above method for payment of parcels, the TPA must submit one check per PIN and one of the following:
  ◊ Original or copy of the tax bill
  ◊ Print screen from our website
• If a TPA does not have a tax bill or print screen, the TPA must include a $2.00 duplicate bill fee for each PIN.
• Any payment received that does not meet the above requirements will be returned.

The purpose of our website is to offer TPAs an online payment method for entering, tracking and committing to paying PINs. Please note that the actual tax amounts will not be available until the end of April. Your commitment to using this system and complying with the deadlines will allow us to continue to offer you various payment options with minimum charge.

Tax amount inquiries may be obtained free of charge through our website or from our Automated Tax Information Telephone Line at (815) 740-4682. All other tax amount or payment inquiries will be billed at $1.00 per PIN and duplicate bills will be billed at $2.00 per PIN. Any information obtained alphabetically or by address is not verified as accurate. Legal descriptions are researched and billed at $5.00 per PIN with a complete legal and $10.00 per PIN with only a name and address.
